Onboard navigation receiver is intended for use in onboard equipment system

Description:

Onboard navigation receiver is intended for use in onboard equipment system of helicopter as an information system-sensor of navigation parameters for solving navigation problems at track, at the aerodrome area in case of incorrect approach for APV-1, APV-2 approach categories and differential mode approach for approach category 1.

It allows to securing correct approach without visual aids.

It provides a continuous determination of aircraft navigation parameters on the basis of SNS GLONASS , GPS signals (after putting SNS GALILEO into operation) and information received from the onboard equipment (navigation data), Ground Based Augmentation Systems (GBAS) via the onboard equipment hardware, and Satellite Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS).

Functions:

Functions and performances:

a) continuous determination of navigation parameters of an aircraft on the basis of SNS GLONASS , GPS and GALILEO signals after putting SNS GALILEO into operation) and information received from:

-onboard equipment (navigation data)

-Ground Based Augmentation System (GBAS) via the airborne equipment hardware

- Satellite Based Augmentation Systems ( SBAS )

b) performance of ABAS function

c) determination of navigation parameters in WGS-84, PZ-90, SK-42 coordinate systems

d) control over delivered parameters integrity

e) prediction of RAIM function availability in the intended destination at the estimated time

f) determination of RAIM function availability at any time after complete almanac reception by the equipment and input of destination coordinates and estimated time of arrival from onboard equipment

g) automatic selection of operating mode depending on the presence and quality of satellite signals and signals received from onboard equipment

h) time markers according to ARINC 743A-3
